Compare SOL perpetual trading fees

These are crypto perpetual swaps that track spot SOL, not dated or settlement-based futures contracts. Because SOL trades near $150 rather than $60,000, a single tick is a larger fraction of the price — so its spread reads higher in basis points than BTC even in a tight, well-arbitraged market. That is correct, not a quirk. FeeFloor measures the fee, half-spread and live slippage for a $100,000 SOL perpetual order and ranks the venues by all-in cost.

As of 18 July 2026, the cheapest crypto exchange for a $100K SOL futures trade is Lighter at $14.30 all-in.· measured 06:50 UTC

Common questions

Does this page include SOL perpetual funding cost?

No. Funding on SOL perpetuals is paid periodically between longs and shorts and fluctuates over the life of a position, so it's excluded from the one-time execution cost measured here — fee, spread and slippage only.

Why can SOL's spread in basis points look wider than BTC's, even in a tight market?

Basis points measure spread relative to price, and SOL trades at a far lower unit price than BTC, so the same tick size represents a larger percentage move. A wider-looking bps spread on SOL doesn't necessarily mean thinner liquidity — it can simply reflect SOL's lower price.

Are Solana-native perp DEXs included, and how are they priced?

Yes. Solana-based perp DEXs that run a visible order book are measured the same way as centralized venues — fee, live spread and simulated slippage. Any that price from an oracle instead are measured on fee alone, since there's no book depth to walk.

Is SOL perpetual trading cheaper than SOL spot trading?

It depends on the venue — perp and spot fee schedules are set independently, and either can be lower. Check this page against the spot exchange-fees comparison for the same exchange to see which SOL market is cheaper at your size.

Does trade size matter more for SOL than for larger-cap assets?

SOL order books are generally shallower in dollar terms than BTC or ETH books on most venues, so a given dollar order can consume a larger share of available depth and push slippage higher sooner. Use the size control to see at what size each venue's SOL book starts to widen.
